Though it finds its beginning in diapers, the story of Mitchell and Nicole truly took off in 2020, when in the midst of some COVID-19 cabin fever, Mitchell decided to slide into the DM's of his parents' friends' "very hot daughter." What turned out to be a brief flame was rekindled in 2023, after Nicole's solicitation of jury duty fashion advice turned into martinis and old fashioneds at The River Oyster Bar in Brickell. Mitchell took a job in Miami and opportunistically asked Nicole if he could move in - he blamed it on the "commute" from Fort Lauderdale - and the rest is history. Over the years, the invisible string tying Mitchell and Nicole together has varied in length; sometimes as short as a few toys away on a playdate or a few whiskey gingers down the bar at Balls Bookstore in Gainsville, sometimes as far as the commute from Miami to Fort Lauderdale or across the Atlantic to the shipyard in Nantes. But the string has always quietly existed, and now, Mitchell and Nicole are ready to tie it in a knot with all of their best friends and family.
